Just when I thought neon hues can’t get any brighter, I saw this Sparkle and Fade pleated skirt glowing from the little corner at Urban Outfitters. It also comes in tangerine and blue which are also very pretty (and a lot brighter in person than it’s displayed online).

I was going for a casual laid back look so I paired this fun skirt with an over-sized comfy sweater from Bar III, but I kind of fail in the casual department when I threw on my favorite pair of nude heels…Although I love a cute pair of comfy flats, I just can’t seem to resist the call of high heels. Even though they can be very painful, it’s something about them that makes me feel so feminine, confident, and sexy. It also doesn’t hurt to add a few more inches to my height!

I absolutely love these heels and I’ve been meaning to purchase them but I’m confused about the sizing because of the back panel. Did you have to go a size up or down for these or were they true to size?

They fit pretty true to size. If you have wide feet, it may be a bit tight at first in the front but once it’s stretch it’s perfect!

I like heels because they complete all my girlie-girl outfits. I also live in my Jack Rogers sandals in the summer. I usually stick to black or nude heels because the focus of most of my outfits is the hat.

I love heels, especially since I’m kinda on the shorter side, but I do too much walking everyday to wear them regularly. Ballet flats are my next shoe-of-choice; I couldn’t imagine living without them!

And to answer your question… of course I am unapologetic addict to anything that will give my diminutive frame some extra inches! Vince is always saying, “Why do you need to wear heels for everything?” LOL, silly boy, he just doesn’t understand! :P Those nude/gold sandals are seriously too gorgeous though, so much so that I’m sorely tempted to get a pair of my own!

To answer your question, I absolutely love heels. I would wear heels all the time if I could. Unfortunately, with my little diva, I have to wear flats sometimes. It’s more of a safety issue. I’m used to walking in them, but the risk of me falling when you add the car seat, the diaper bags, the cooler bag with her milk, etc is just greater with heels. Haha! But yes, I absolutely agree with how they make me feel. :)

I love heels too but super high ones are just difficult to wear around New York, where I do a lot of walking! I tend to save the super high ones (ie over 4″) for the office…at least my coworkers get to appreciate my lovely shoes. haha
