Looking at these photos seriously made me giggled to myself. Keeping things as real as possible here, I am no model and seeing myself draped and slung my jacket over my shoulders oh-so-nonchalantly is pretty amusing. I mean, how on earth are people walking around like this? I get it, the pits needs some breathing room, but I could hardly keep the thing on my back standing still let along strutting at full speed down the street. Nevertheless I may just have been quite the inexperience jacket-draper and my desire to snatched the living sleeves off someone who frequent the “drape” has kinda sorta diminished; because now I realized how this look has elevated my chic status by 10.
Totally kidding aside, this crop jacket and pencil skirt made in a stretch medium weight knit fabric is my favorite from my New Year ’14 collection. The rich deep pink/red hue and clean soft knit is perfect for day or night and I especially love that this can be worn in the office with simple pumps, on a casual date with a tee, or a sexy top for a night on the town with the girls. There are so many outfits that can be styled with this set together or separately, and I can’t wait to show you the photos…well actually I can because none of those photos has been taken yet. :)

lol your comment made me giggle too! I thought you did well acting fairly nonchalantly :) the fabric looks rich and beautiful! I love material offers structure and not clingy as I am curvy like you are too and structured fabric helps to conceals those bumps I don’t want others to see :p

Hahaha! Not only are you gorgeous and stylish, you are also hilarious! Love what you wrote about “keeping it real.” I have to admit, I do draped my jacket and while for photos it does looks cool and effortless, it’s not really easy to walk in it unless it’s a wide shoulder jacket. I have seen people draped all sorts of jackets where I live and I always wonder the same. Btw – I love the set!! I will order this Friday!
This outfit is super stunning on you!! I’d love to order it but my waist is 26″ and my hips are 40″ so it makes it difficult to shop :-/ I love the pattern/texture of the fabric.
Hi Joanna, you’ll probably need a medium. The waist on the skirt is elastic, 27/28 inches and the hips can stretch 3-4.
Oh my gosh this outfit is amaaaaazing!
So sharp! I love it!

You’re hilarious about pitts needing to breathe! Girl I’m just trying to figure out how you so casually hold on to your bag with the sexiest fingers ever, so gently holding the straps up, but not really holding them- now that is art. Now can we talk about that bow?! I love a big pouffy bow, it reminds me of Alice and Olivia, love it. You should do a DIY on that and let me know how much fabric you use.
So proud of you and Nate, you guys make the best design group… come up with a logo t-shirt anjd get with the logo train this summer as I would be proud to sport your logo on my chest!
xoxo
