Wore this outfit on date night with Nate last Friday to the movies and I love that it’s comfortable yet a little sexy at the same time.

When I’m not in the mood to get dressed up, these are my go-to jeans because it’s so comfortable yet I can still add a little something extra to the outfit with the right pairings. I love the tight fitting crop top because it’s perfect for balancing out the over-sized bottoms and a pair of heels adds a sexy vibe. By the way, we saw Fast & Furious. It was surprisingly good and worth seeing if you’re looking for a summer action flick with a bit of muscles thrown in. :) There are so many movies that I have to see this June. A few of my must-see are Man of Steel (drooling), World War Z and White House Down. Do you have a favorite? Hope you had a lovely weekend!

When it comes to accessories, I’m more of a silver or gold kinda gal but the contrasting colors of mint, coral and purple of this Chiara statement necklace from 2Hello Beautiful definitely caught my eye and I love how it adds just the perfect touch to my summer staples.

Speaking of summer staples, I’m loving the 2013 Summer collection from Spiegel, which are mostly on sale right now! I have my eyes this Ponte Taylor jumpsuit for day, cute floral one piece swimsuit for the beach, and this bright blue maxi skirt for everyday.

The best thing about coming back from a week stay in a tropical place is that I brought back the sunshine. Or at least that’s what I like to tell myself because it’s been unbelievably warm in this little part of town (80 degrees +). With the weather heating up, my favorite go to pieces are these DIY cut off shorts that I made from old vintage levis, a comfy tank, crop moto that’s just too perfect for day and night and of course a hat for those uncooperative hair days! Although I’m totally addicted to summer’s happy hues like neon brights and all it’s vibrancy, sometimes it’s refreshing to switch things up, tone it down and embrace the black in my wardrobe…The color black is timeless and is the perfect definition of sleek and sophistication. Though black is a wardrobe classic, sometimes it can look dreary and bland. To avoid this, I like to find pieces that has interesting characters such as this black peplum top with sophisticated lace detail in the front and a sexy opening in the back…paired with a circular front cut minty skirt from H&M (that was last worn here).

Finally, I was just wondering if you noticed the slight change in my hair?! :)

I decided to try to the  ever-so-popular Ombre trend and I love it! But I’m curious to know your thoughts on the Ombre trend? Do you love it, hate it, and do you think it will get old soon? Anyhow, if you’re in the SF Bay Area and need a hairstylist, check out my girl Su Kim. She’s the best! xo
