When it comes to buying clothes, I like to know that I can take the pieces I have and wear them in many different ways; because as life gets busier, it’s important to do things more simply without compromising what I love to wear and what fits the occasion.

When I made this dress a few months ago, I thought to myself, how much more versatile it could be if it was a skirt (because we all know I am quite the skirts-a-holic)…than I decided to take it all apart and recreate the whole thing. This time, Ive attached the top to the skirt with snap on buttons so it can become a dress. The halter top can also be twisted in a few different ways (more photos to come) to create a slightly different top…so here it is, a two in one, dress and skirt…I like to call her Attach-Me-Not.

Let me know what you think of this dress?

Will I ever get tired of midi skirts and crop tops? Probably not. It’s my drug… :)

I’ve been eying this fabric for months and I kept telling myself, I need to look for something else but every time I see this roll of emerald green perfection, I just can’t stop starring. Finally, when I came back to the fabric store, the roll was down to only a few yards. Of course, you always find yourself “wanting” something more than ever when it’s nearly gone, right? Purchased the very last piece of fabric and made it into this. It’s just a basic full length but it’s so elegant and feminine. What I love is the color and the simple silhouette which goes with practically anything.

First look at my New Year 2014 collection!

This knit jacket is part of a set and I love that it goes with literally everything in my closet (more pics on that later) and this skirt… with it’s perfect voluminous silhouette and high low hemline, made it perfect for a special occasion or just when I felt like being glamorous for absolutely no reason at all. There are so many midi skirts on the market nowadays so when I made this I wanted to add a little something that will make her stand out…and subtle the high low hemline was the perfect touch. This skirt be available for Custom Fit orders after the holidays.

I hope you are having a WONDERFUL and most fabulous holidays’ eve. This is the time of year to reflect back, a time of renewal and hope, giving, helping and sharing, but most of all, love! xo

While the tea-length full skirts aren’t a new trend so to speak, it’s just getting increasing popular by the minute this year. Well, I’m pretty excited because I’ve always been a huge fan of the voluminous silhouettes and to be honest, that’s all I want to make nowadays. Since this fabric is thick and has this natural ‘poofy’ effect when the pleats are created, I decided to give it a slight drop waist to balance out the volume and added a smaller (than usual) bow to finish the style. I’m madly in love with this vintage luxurious pale powder blue satin fabric and contrasting light pewter gray that seemingly looks three dimension when in this beautiful late afternoon light. Hope you guys like this new piece! :)
