Just when I thought combining stripes with floral, zebra and leopard print was too over the top, I saw this striped top in my closet next to this skirt I made a few weeks ago. It was almost like a match made in print-mixing-heaven…and I love how the teal in the top brought out the subtle teal in the skirt. I mean, I would assumed a simple solid color top would be the better mate for all the wild and loud patterns of leopard, zebra and floral intertwined in one little skirt……but who wants to be simple right? :)
This is when I say more is more and it worked perfectly for me!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend! I have been kind of sick on and off all weekend and then right before we left the house yesterday, I cleaned my contacts with Clear Care and placed them directly in my eyes. For anyone who knows about this product, it’s not meant to go directly in your eyes (it has to soak in the container for 6+ hours so it won’t burn). I must have been woozy from all the meds because I placed the solution containing hydrogen peroxide right on my contacts and placed them in my eyes. Talk about a good o’ burn and one bloodshot eyeball, perfect for blog photos! I’ll spear you the horror (really it was pretty bad) and keep my eyes down.
