Full skirts are demure, sweet and ladylike, but what’s fascinating is how they can transport me to a time in fashion history when the silhouette of a woman was truly grand. When people made a real effort to get dressed. And mostly when there was a real sense of mystery surrounding a woman’s body. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a body hugging mini from time to time, but what can create its own breeze as I walk by, swish and twirl as I turn, and gives me a sense of freedom that celebrate my femininity and comfort more than a full flowy skirt?
I wore this skirt last September to NYFW in blue and thought plum would be the perfect color for winter. I love the intensity of this color and how it can be dark yet vibrant and mysterious yet vivacious. What you think of this color?
P.S. You may have noticed that the skirt looks darker in some photos, we were experimenting with direct sunlight vs. shade for our new lens. The true color of this skirt is when it’s in the sun (see last photo).
Amazing skirt!!!! Love this outfit :)
This is definitely my favorite skirt! I love the color and the cut! Absolutely gorgeous.
I love love this skirt and color!!!
I loveeeeeee this skirt! One of my favorite skirts!
Lovely! I think of Carrie from “sex and the city” when i see that skirt and the picture of you sitting down is very spectacular :)

Spectacular! I adore the shot of you sitting on the ledge. I used to live about 2 blocks of the Palace of Fine Arts and it definitely has a quality to transport one to another time and space. I love the quality that a skirt like this denotes and this color is an favorite. The way you paired it with some “tougher” pieces makes it modern and I’m in love with those shoes… just sayin ;)

KT,
I am IN LOVE with these photos! You look stunning.
That skirt just dances on you, I adored it in blue as well when you wore it to fashion week.
Now to get started on your necklaces! That was the perfect most insane combination to pair with that skirt, I adore the leather with the ultra feminine skirt. I swear I love all of Zara’s shoes too lol.
Oh, annnd lastly before I forget, your new lens! Dude, now that is cool, I cannot wait till I can hook myself up with one of them cameras ;)

Hi Sam, it’s at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. :)
This is by far one of the prettiest things I’ve seen! You look stunning, and everything looks great on you. I really like the longer skirt and the color, I’m actually surprised that I like the longer version more than the short one! Regardless, lovely. You did a great job!
XOXO, Aspen
Any shade of purple is a winner in my book since it’s my favourite colour. I’m liking the longer length of this skirt and any excuse to twirl sounds good to me! The photo of you sitting on top of those steps is amazing, I hope you frame that one!

Love this outfit, the whole thing is just perfect KTR!
I have to agree… as much as I love my miniskirts and shorts and flaunting my gams, there’s just something so much fun about maxi and midi skirts (which admittedly, I single-handedly credit my newfound love for them to YOU, you beacon of inspiration)! The Palace of Fine Arts is such a gorgeous backdrop, and I love that you climbed the backside’s stairs for that utterly beautiful photo! I really love everything about that skirt… the shape, length, color, and of course, your signature bow. The sleeveless turtleneck crop top, leather jacket, and those gold chain Zara heels (I looooove) gives the skirt such a great and unexpected edge… just perfection! One of my favorite looks from you as of yet! :)

I need to get one of your skirt ASAP, LOVE your design and color choices. I agree so much with you and love how you embrace your body. Makes me forget about my insecurities for a sec.

Carina
Aww thanks so much Carina!
Oh so pretty!!! I actually like this pairing with the cropped top more than the outfit with the blue skirt. And the necklace!! Everything is just so perfect in this outfit!!!
OMG I love the way you think! Nowadays its all skin tight and body barring. I mean sometimes I like it too but I love that you embrace your body in both skin tights things and full longer dresses and skirts! And I couldn’t agree more, the myster of it all with the full skirts! Love it and I love all of your designs and the colors you pick! I have been debating on what color but am totally placing an order this week for this skirt!!!!
wow, another perfect skirt!
the setting is perfect!
Amazing skirt! You look so gorgeous!
This skirt is a beauty – I may need to get one myself, the question is: what color?! :)
Love the skirt and the shots are beautiful. Love the outfit!
