It’s 2am and I have been starring at the screen for the last 20 minutes, writing nonsense, deleting and rewriting the same nonsense. I realized I have talked about this subject many times before: color blocking, maxi skirts, oh look at how this skirt is flowing in the air and the sun is seeping through creating that warm hint of glow from that ray of golden hour delight. Do you ever get writer’s block? Anyhow, the crimson red color of this skirt is pretty darn amazing.

In other boring news, we’ve finally narrowed down the models for the KSW fashion show (thanks to the lovely ladies of Kearny Street Workshop) and I learned/realized a few things about myself over the weekend: 1) I’m such a low talker, 2) my lack of patience is a mean son of a gun and 3) I drive like a senior citizen. Thank you NR for pointing these out. I’ll work on it but I can’t guarantee the driving will improve.

Happy Monday loves. I hope you had a wonderful and productive weekend! xo

I love this girl! It’s glam boho color blocking. You look beautiful and yes, I get writers block all the time. I discovered when I’m in the mood it comes very quickly and when I’m not it doesn’t. I’m gad to hear things are coming along for your show! Driving like a senior though? We’ll talk ;)

Ah, it must be so amazing to be at the point of choosing models! It must makes this entire journey so much more real to see who will be wearing your creations. I do love the pairing of red and turquoise here too, that’s a colour combination I need to try for myself :)

I love this look, I actually have a green maxi skirt with pleats but I find it makes me look more hippy, if that was ever possible :/ anyhow I just realized that there isn’t enough max in the maxi, a tad too short. Yours is beautiful and makes you look taller! Love the colour blocking and ofcourse your photos are always so beautiful!

Thanks for visiting my blog, I know it’s elementary but I’m finally getting the hang of it. :)
Rest assured, no one has less patience than I do, my sons would agree. It’s a crown I have grown to love, Impatient Mom! :)
Can’t wait to see your clothing line, I’m actually launching a clothing line in the Spring and this whole new world of IG has added so much more inspiration to my life. Jheesh is there a word limit on commenting? You have writer’s block? I have a bad case of ‘run on’ sentence.

    Natalia Oh!

It’s nice to know I’m not alone. My entries usually take longer to publish because of the actual words. I love writing, but it’s always a little difficult to make it coincide with the entry. I just don’t feel like writing about ‘what happened today’ sometimes. LOL.

I absolutely adore this look. You look amazing, and I love the images. They’re so beautiful!

P.S. Glad to know I’m not the only one that drives like a senior citizen, too. In fact, everybody always makes a comment about it. Haha! Then again, I’m a senior citizen with road rage sometimes. LOL!

In love with that maxi skirt!

  12. Amanda says:

Haha this is so funny because I have the same issue when I’m writing my papers but doing at lat hours are always worst because I’m completely loopy after midnight. Well you turned a nonpost into a funny post! The thing you learn about yourself: I love the low talker! I assume you are a Sienfeld fan? :)

  13. Sandra says:

    Awesome photos babe :)
Last photo is definitely my fave.
I have days when my words come to my mind so fluidly that I’m amazed at myself and others that I’m so blocked it’s annoying! I’m very polarized on that matter. lol and it happens to me both in English and Portuguese, but it’s fairly worse in english because it’s not my native language.

I get writer’s blocked too. I love this post, it’s funny ! Better a safe driver than sorry. This look is so alluring. you rocked it !

Wow so pretty! Red is really a good color for you KT and I love how you mixed it with teal!

  17. J says:

KT, you’re killing me!!! Please show us a glimpse of your line? I cannot wait any longer!!! Hahaha! On a separate note, you look amazing in that skirt! I never think to pair red with teal. It’s such a beautiful combination!

  18. Sabby says:

That skirt is seriously the business! Talk about fire engine red! And your color blocking is always on point–awesome contrast yet superbly complimentary, with that gorgeous touch of the golden hour. ;) I’m way too excited to see your designs worn on the KSW runway… those text sneak peeks you’ve given me just aren’t enough!

And bahaha, ugh, writer’s block is something that I’ve known all too well. The funny thing is, the later the hour, the more abstract (read: loopy) my writing gets, which is admittedly pretty handy for short stories, but not so much for cohesive blog posts, lol.

    Love you! :*
