2018 Tiburon Wine Festival.

What a great afternoon at the annual Tiburon Wine Festival this year! Perfect weather, live music, the wine pours were generous and the food samples were delicious.

The Tiburon Wine Festival is one of the Bay Area’s premier wine events, showcases over 40+ small production wineries.  We really enjoyed the experience to try new wines (unlimited tasting), while chatting and meeting the winemakers. The harmony of fine wine and culinary talent as some of the area’s most popular restaurants and food purveyors provide delicious appetizers and gourmet food samples. We were hydrated (with plenty of complimentary water), tasted a lot good dishes, there were no drama and I didn’t even misplaced my phone in the freezer the next morning. I say that’s a success! :) Thank you Tiburon Wine fest!

wedding2

twoThe thing that made our wedding so special are the people. Having all of our family and friends there with so much love is something we are truly thankful for. It was the most beautiful day…to walk down the aisle (actually, very long flight of stairs) and for the first time that day, seeing the man I love, my better half, with tears of joy and a smile of an angel. Everything was just perfect from that moment on.

Nate and I wanted a cozy little wedding away from the city (he’s from NY and I’m from CA). Being on a budget, we wanted a venue that would allow us do a lot of our own decorations and personalization. The Huntcliff River Club in Sandy Springs, GA was the perfect pick for us. Beautifully situated next to the Chattanooga River, the ceremony playground was tucked away under four large 100-year-old Oak trees. Just the perfect amount of shade for a warm September day in Georgia two years ago. The reception was nested on the second floor inside the club house, surrounded by floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ceremony site and the river. It was so peaceful and serene, it was our little tree house.

We had a year to plan, and time flew by quicker than we thought! It started from finding a perfect venue and narrowing down all of our vendors, to creating all the little details such as our save the dates, the invitations, our cupcake tower, our favors, candy buffet, ceremony programs, dinner menus, escort cards, table numbers, and arranging all of the ceremony and reception flowers (what the heck were we thinking?!@). At times I was so overwhelmed and I wished we would have ran off to a small town somewhere in New Mexico to say our I Do’s….but looking back now, all the photos and memories made everything so much more special.

I have to say the best part of planning our wedding was bonding and learning how difficult one another can be and learning how to compromise. Nate will falsely accused me of  being obsessive compulsive but I have one word for him…Mr. Too-Helpful-Groomzilla. Together, we were a match made in wedding planning heaven. :)

My first day in NY didn’t start out so well…The minute we landed, I had a bad case of food poisoning and was literally hurling out my stomach every 15 seconds from 6AM to 12PM…Luckily I felt better (sorta) and got myself out of bed to head out to co-host the Ted Baker x LookMazing event with my fabulous new babe, Tommy of MyBelonging.

Even though I was still not 100% I had such an amazing time, but the best part was meeting my readers and hanging out with my blogger bestie Sabrina. It was her birthday but she was so kind to be there with me and capture these moments on camera. I do regret not taking many details shots of the clothing because Ted’s Fall collection was to-die-for. From the beautifully constructed peplum jackets to the floral printed dresses, skirts and pants, to the vibrant jumpsuit, down to the colorful crystal encrusted pumps and the mo-hawk blue hair clutch. I mean everything was fabulous! Here’s one of the looks I styled!

Thanks for stopping by and as always thanks for your support! Kisses!

LookMazing x Macy’s Video Recap

Last month, I had a fabulous time as a guest stylist at the LookMazing x Macy’s Spring Into Style event in SF Union Square along with bloggers Alexandra of SFShopGirl and Kathleen of KatWalkSF. For those that doesn’t know, LookMazing, Inc. is a start-up but rapidly growing fashion and beauty social network for individuals to showcase their personal style through photo ‘looks’ that can be easily shopped and shared by others.

I have attended most of LM’s events and I have to say they are always incredibly professional, organized and fun! There’s music, cocktails, sweets, prizes, an awesome photo booth and always fresh new faces to meet! Not to mention CEO and Founder Doris and her team are so amazing and warm.

We did a quick recap of the event and put together a short video. I’m a YouTube newbie so hope you like the video! :)
