When in doubt, wear red.

Remember my (black) BDay dress  (here and here)? I’ve decided to add red to the collection because other than being madly in love with this candy apple red, it’s a timeless color and can be worn throughout the year.

Nate and I were on our way to dinner last night when we decided to stop by this roof top to snap a few photos for KTRcollection… But who’s wearing a slinky little red dress on a ‘school night?’ :)

I’m typically in comfortable leggings on most weekday evenings after being at work for 8+ hours, but I was too excited to try out this dress! It’s important to me to always test out my garments for a feel of the fabric, fit, and stretch…The fabric is a semi-thick knit that stretches about 3-4 inches, super soft and maintained it’s shape throughout the evening. It’s so comfortable that when we got home, I was literally lounging around this in this dress until bedtime!

What Type of Bra?

In case you’re wondering what kind of bra is best to wear with this dress, here are a few of my favorite picks.  These backless bras can offer minimal or maximum support depending on the style and what’s your preference.  My favorite bra for my B cup is #2 but if you’re larger or want more support, I’d go with #4. Click on photo to view more details on each bra or you can do a google search for “backless bra”s and a ton will come up. Hope this helps!

Floral Fever

I live about 30 minutes outside of San Francisco and usually when I visit the city, it’s typically chilly, cloudy and windy…but today was beautiful. The sun was warm and the weather was just perfect at the Legion of Honor. It was our first time here and I can’t believe I never checked out this gem because it’s such an amazing place with so much history and has a beautiful backdrop for photos! We spent most of the day here shooting for my new Floral collection. This set is one of my favorites. The pink floral print is very feminine and delicate, but as a mini skirt with a fully flared shape and a playful crop top, I think it’s perfect for summer!

Stay tuned for more later this week!

When it comes to buying clothes, I like to know that I can take the pieces I have and wear them in many different ways; because as life gets busier, it’s important to do things more simply without compromising what I love to wear and what fits the occasion.

When I made this dress a few months ago, I thought to myself, how much more versatile it could be if it was a skirt (because we all know I am quite the skirts-a-holic)…than I decided to take it all apart and recreate the whole thing. This time, Ive attached the top to the skirt with snap on buttons so it can become a dress. The halter top can also be twisted in a few different ways (more photos to come) to create a slightly different top…so here it is, a two in one, dress and skirt…I like to call her Attach-Me-Not.

Let me know what you think of this dress?
